Alex, It would definitely be interesting to see some of the changes. I'm thinking of doing some admin interface improvements and ideas of what others have done would be useful.
One quick note. If you find yourself replacing views a lot, there is a satchmo utility - satchmo_utils.urlhelper.replace_urlpattern that will swap out individual views for you. It's a lot cleaner solution. If nothing else, more details of customization will be useful for others to understand best practices!
