Hi all, After going through the quite lengthy pip log file I find that I was getting a gcc error code 1. The problem was with ReportLab2.3 I have ReportLab2.1 installed in the system wide site-packages, so I tryed running $sudo easy_install -U ReportLab and I got the same gcc error. Looks like there is an issue with the latest reportlab. I tryed it with Ubuntu 8.10 and Ubuntu 8.04LTS and got the same results.
After removing it from requirements.txt file sathcmo 1.0-pre installed nicely into my virtualenv:) Thank you very much for the super easy install!! lzantal On Nov 14, 4:52 pm, lzantal <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > I am trying to install satchmo with the new installation process > (http://bitbucket.org/chris1610/satchmo/wiki/ > ImprovedInstallationProcess) > I cant get it to install into a virtualenv. > I tryed it with virtualenv activated and without. > > Did anyone was able to install it into a virtualenv? > If so Could you please share the steps you were taking to do so? > > thank you > > lzantal --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Satchmo users" group.
