Craig,

Writing a script wouldn't be that hard. The main thing is that you'll need
to create your AttributeGroups then add the specific attributes to the
product.

If you have trouble writing the script we can try to help out. I'm not sure
I have the time right this minute to create one but I can help if you run
into issues.
