First, I'm putting together some thoughts for what I would like to submit for Djangocon talks. One of the things I'd really like to do is a couple of case studies on using Satchmo to deploy a store. So, my question is - are you interested in providing some information on your Satchmo deployments such as: - Why you chose Satchmo? - How did Satchmo help you deploy the store faster, cheaper, better, etc? - What are some of your key learnings in using Satchmo?
If you are interested and would be at Djangocon, you can talk directly about it. If you are interested but can't make it, I could present on it (but it would be much more effective if you did ;) If you think you might be a good candidate, feel free to respond to me off list and let me know. Depending on the number of participants, this may be a full talk or just part of an existing Satchmo discussion. Second, are any of you planning to be at Djangocon? If so, would you be willing/interested to participate in a Sprint during the sprint days? We've never done that at Djangocon so I'm interested in trying to do it but only if there is some sort of critical mass. If you seriously think you will be there and would be willing to Sprint, chime in to give me a feel for how big it could be. If there's enough interest we may try to do it.
