Hello, I'm using Satchmo for a new store, have not used it before but my web developer assures me it's a good option.
I have a slightly unusual setup for my store in that I will be selling 1 clothing product each day, with a few variations, womens small-xl and mens small-xxl. At the end of each day I will need to get totals of how many of each item have sold, eg 15x mens small, 45 womens small etc. The numbers will be quite large so going though the list of orders one at a time will not be an option, I need to be able to access the totals. When I have the total numbers, I give them to my suppliers, they then give me the products. I want to be able to then print out all the invoice/packing slips for that days products at once, and then be able to sent updates to all customers at once that their product has dispatched. The invoice/ packing slip will incorporate the address label for the customer, so all I will have to do is pack each envelope with the item, stick it on and dispatch it. As I am hoping to be doing this for 250+ items a day over time I need a very simple system with the abilty to process bulk orders. Having had a look at the Satchmo backend it seems its possible to process each individual order, what I'm wondering is there a way of bulk doing this, ie print all new order invoice/packing slips, mark all orders as being processed, being dispatched etc while sending email updates to customer.
