Hello

This is a first time in a year when i have managed to set up satchmo
store from scratch.. thank you clonesatchmo lol.

Anyway, now that i have managed to do it I have several questions
about store settings. I work as project manager at one web and ad
company and we have set up several stores for our customers on
magento. I am django enthusiast and i would like to check out satchmo
too. But since i have seen the stuff you can do with magento i have to
ask questions as:

1) tax settings. I set tax to 0.18 just fine. I encountered a bug,
when i set both tax area and tax country to estonia, it would not save
it and kept telling me "You must choose a zone or a country." - cmoon
i had both chosen. In any case. i changed tax class of both robot
attacks and python rocks products to "eesti käibemaks" - tax class i
set up earlier. That made no difference in front end. Surfing around
in admin side led me to conlusion that the store is missing several
crucial settings - a) way to config if the product price includes tax
class or not and b) way to configure if the public side displays price
with or without tax. But since the tax class is just string and does
not include the actual tax info should come from tax rate not tax
class... is it a bug or what? Another tax related thing that seems to
be missing is that product tax is not displayed in both shopping cart
and checkout

2) currency settings. Now this is CRUCIAL when it comes to multi
national stores. and as far as i can see, there is nothing like that
in satchmo. Estonia is so small market that everyone who creates e-
store here is thinking about selling to neighbour countries too. That
often requires several currencies. Our customers have even told us
that american folks wont buy from otherwise great and english store
where currency is english pound. same about germans - the store can be
at uk but they wont buy if its not in euro. For that reason i think
satchmo urgently needs way to set up multiple currencies and how those
currencies relate to each other. magento even offers online service
where those currency relations can be automatically updated. Thats not
really necessary though. I think the store owner can update the
currency rates by themselves, unless they dont want to loose money due
to currency changes.

all this using satchmo 0.91.

What i would like to know is - have you guys thought about such
things. Is there a place for them in your development plan? perhaps
they are already in development?
