My live settings packaged needed to be upgraded.

That gave me a clue. I forgot that livesettings was a separate package
outside of satchmo.

This appears to be some kind of issue with livesettings. Looking at
the rendered source, there is in fact no "csrfmiddlewaretoken" field
on the form.
However, looking at the template I do see that livesettings/templates/
site_settings.html DOES include the {% csrf_token %} template tag...
but it's not getting rendered. Any ideas what may be going on here?
