It was an awesome meeting and it was great seeing faces that I haven't been seen for a while.
A couple of to-do list items came out of the cigar chomping last night. 1. Fixing the lighting situation, I have one of the bulbs from the lighting fixtures and will be picking up a supply of bulbs for the main room. There was some discussion of secondary lighting fixtures getting put up as well. 2. Myk OLeary is going to head up organizing the children's events probably starting in January. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Some really fun project ideas were banded about. 3. Return of the Big Table - I am going to start looking around on Craigslist for some collapsable folding tables for the middle part of the room. Change the flow of the room around a bit. 4. Mid Week Saturday House - Cigar chomping is going to happen again in January. 5. A projector - I am going to start looking for a high quality, reasonable budget, bright projector for the space for display code and other uses (movie night?) Email me off list if you see something or want to kick in a few dollars. 6. Webcam - We are going to put in a webcam hooked up to the Saturday House website so you can see some of the fun stuff going on. 7. A revamp of the Saturday House website will be forthcoming. (Anyone know any web geeks?) 8.
