Dear Saturday House,
I want to apologize for:
* Making 6 laws,
* Forbidding talk against high ideals,
* Threatening to throw people off the list,
* And various other dictations, explicit or implied.
I was doing it because I thought, "I should do something different
than I've done in the past," (what I was doing in the past wasn't
working,) and "Maybe this is a true theory." I did it, and, well,
I realize that it didn't work.
At Bucketworks, James (the founder & leader of Bucketworks) taught
me A LOT about leadership, and what he deeply impressed on me was
the crucially high importance of: SERVANT LEADERSHIP.
I didn't really "get it," about how it functions, until I was
landed back here in Seattle, and had more time to piece it
together. ("What does it _mean?_ What do you _do_ differently? [*]")
Now, it is absolutely clear to me why Spiriata hasn't been
"working," despite deep and persistent efforts of will and earnest
and sincere prayers *all around* that this can work. And, of
course, why the top-down directive structure couldn't work for
Saturday House either, even if the command is: "Ok, do whatever it
is you want to do." (Dead on Arrival.)
So, in short, I'd like to request your forgiveness.
If you feel that what you saw was "too extreme," that "I can't be
trusted," or simply "unforgivable," fine; I understand why you
feel that way. I can't blame you.
Whichever way: Follow your heart, and I trust that life will set
your path right.

If anyone is interested, and wants to "learn from others'
mistakes" rather than their own -- the chief thing to do, is to
ask, "Okay, why are you with me here, now?" and "How can I help
you do what you want to do."
This doesn't mean that the people necessarily *know* what it is
that they want to do, that they necessarily *know* what it is that
they are trying to do, -- but, that you can suss it out, and help
people give some form to their ideals and dreams, and then make a
smooth and easy path for them to start making them real.
This is why Bucketworks works.
