I didn't understand your first question, can you precise.
About the missing 404 error, you need to edit the .htaccess:
ErrorDocument 404 /savane/404.php
The link in /projects/savannah is a bug. It refers to the old way to check the
pending projects list. The right link was in the left menu ("Pending
projects"). I fixed it in the CVS. Thanks :)
