Details:
How about changing the default severity labels:
1 - Trivial
2 - Ordinary
3 - Average
4 - Major
5 - Blocker
6 - Security
to
1 - Wish/Taste
2 - Minor
3 - Normal
4 - Important
5 - Blocker
6 - Security
We would follow the debian names. I'm proposing this change because "ordinary"
and "average" looks to me quite hard to compare.
How do we define average? Average by comparison to what? If it is average
between the lowest and the highest... it is ordinary).
Ordinary definition is an open door to many interpretations too.
bugs.kde.org use wish/bug/crash. Crash is more or less like blocker... but a
crash is likely to be caused by what we call a bug, so...
I think wishes should be primarily posted to the support tracker, and then
reassigned to the task tracker if approved.
But some stuff are "bugs" and wishes: it frequently happens for translation,
one way to do things may be acceptable but deprecated.
