thanks for the hints. yes, local smtp appears to be working (tested it by
issuing SMTP commands directly and by invoking sendmail -bs directly) - Since
Im running SuSE 9.1, I appear to be suffering from some kind of bug with PHP
and the mail functions..
As far as the version of Savane, I downloaded a file called
savane-latest.tar.gz from this site on 6/29/2005.. do I not have the latest
version?
For future reference, what is "@INC" and how to I set it so my perl scripts
can find needed libraries? (is it sort of like a classpath for java?)
