I've done this because the link points to itself, which should not be done
according to accessibility guidelines. Instead, I've added the id attribute
to satisfy any browser. The links to a specific comment from e.g. another
comment (the <a href="#comment4"> syntax) should still work.
As a side note, you forgot to change the equivalent link in the "quoted"
mode, so I've taken the opportunity to simplify the existing code and
refactored it to avoid such bugs in the future.
Note that I haven't applied the s/href/id/ step again, in case I'm mistaken
with my assumption. If you don't object, I suggest to replace the href
attribute with "id" again.
