I plan to work on the long-pending Savannah merge tonight and tomorrow. I will commit trivial and approved changes to the trunk, and I think I will create a branch to store all the changes for you to review once I am done locally.
I do not wish to create a branch right now because each time I plan to work on this task, some important task fall on me, which makes any branch work hard to maintain in the long run. -- Sylvain
