Then let's make it one, since primarily only GNU uses it. Hell, it's *called* "Savannah", where the gnus (wildebeests) roam. How do we make it a GNU project? The code is abandoned anyways. A lot of GNU projects are using Savane, and nobody is maintaining it. There are outstanding issues with it (see the savannah-users mailing list for a recent situation), and nobody is fixing it. So why not make it part of the GNU project and devote some effort to fixing it? - Jordi G.
