Moving from non-GNU to GNU:

* Change project type for the Savane project.

This is in the left-hand menu, Site Administration / Main Page -> Browse
Groups List.

* Project admins should change their download area to {alpha|ftp}.gnu.org.

GNU projects will still have access to the Savannah download area, but
ordinarily shouldn't use them.

* FTP access to ftp|alpha.gnu.org is made by the maintainer.

Contact is [EMAIL PROTECTED], maintainers should follow
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Automated-FTP-Uploads.html.

??changed:
- * It will also automatically create a redirection from
www.nongnu.org/PROJECT to www.gnu.org/software/PROJECT
-
-* Give access to group 'www' on that project (vserver 'vcs_noshell, check
/etc/init.d/cvs_permissions for setfacl stuff)
-
-* Mailing lists: check ListServer for migration instructions
-
This will also automatically create a redirection from www.nongnu.org/PROJECT
to www.gnu.org/software/PROJECT. It works via a web service at www.gnu.org
maintained by GNU sysadmin.

* Give access to group 'www' on the new GNU project (vserver vcs_noshell, check
/etc/init.d/cvs_permissions for setfacl stuff).

* Mailing lists: check ListServer for non-gnu to gnu list migration
documentation.
