I tested logaccum with 2 projects (that have branches) and since it's
worked, I added it in the Savannah cvs
(
http://savannah.nongnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/savannah/savannah/backend/gnu-specific/
)
This version is installed in /usr/local/savannah/bin, as any other
savannah script, and /usr/local/bin/log_accum is a symlink against it.
Now it should be tested on projects that had real problems with
log_accum initially (emacs, for instance).
* Richard, or someone else from Emacs, would you give it a try and tell
Paul if it works?
* Paul, you have write access on the Savannah cvs. You can edit the
script in savannah/backend/gnu-specific, if needed. To get it updated
on savannah, log as root in savannah:
cd ~/sv_subversions
make update -i
That's it.
