[Savannah-hackers-public] respond_to_post_requests=no ?

Would it be possible to change the default for the mailman variable
respond_to_post_requests to no?  (E.g., in the automated mailing list
creation through savannah.)  This would help cut down on backscatter
(and hence blacklisting, etc.).
