There's a directly apparently related to git2cvs, which seems to be
old - and big:

savannah:~# du -sh /vservers/vcs-noshell/root/.schwab-emacs-repo/
285M    /vservers/vcs-noshell/root/.schwab-emacs-repo/


Is it safe to remove it?
