Hi,

I am a first year Software Engineering student at McGill University.

I would like to do volunteer work on FLOSS. Also, I really like Arduino. As
avrdude is part of the Arduino toolchain, I would like to propose my help in
improving it. In doing so, I hope to learn about microcontrollers and FLOSS
development.

I have done work in the past on AIs, Arduino projects, Python contract work,
some bash scripting and some functional programming. I want to learn as much as
possible about pretty much all paradigms of programming.

Unless some specific features are in the work for avrdude, I would like to
expand the line of AVR µCs it works on, and possibly work on giving it better
integration with LUFA or the Arduino Leonardo bootloader.

I am open to suggestions and requests :)

Carl
