The problem with Git on Savannah that I reported earlier seems to be more than just the git:// protocol. Here's what I get _sometimes_ for "git pull" when using git+ssh protocol:
~/git/emacs/unexec$ git pull remote: Counting objects: 884, done. remote: warning: suboptimal pack - out of memory remote: fatal: Out of memory, malloc failed (tried to allocate 305166 bytes) error: git upload-pack: git-pack-objects died with error. fatal: git upload-pack: aborting due to possible repository corruption on the remote side. remote: aborting due to possible repository corruption on the remote side. fatal: protocol error: bad pack header I say "sometimes" because repeating the command enough times eventually succeeds. Sounds like the server machine has memory problems?
