Hi folks,

I'm an admin of the groff list; a subscriber is having problems I can't
seem to help them with.

They're a yahoo dot com user. I suspect (but do not know) that I'm not
the only GNU list admin who got emails from Mailman advising of
automatic unsubscriptions, exclusively of subscribers using that domain
name, last week.

I contacted the several affected subscribers privately to advise them of
the problem. One seems to be unable to resubscribe. (I haven't heard
from the others.) All the relevant boxes look correct in the admin
interface.

When I look them up at:

https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/admin/groff/members?letter=2

...I see their subscription address. "unsub" is not ticked. The only
box to the right of the address that is ticked is "plain".

This has been the case for more than a day, but per their communication
this evening (U.S. time) they've received none of the emails that went
to the groff list today (1 December). They said they checked their spam
folder as well.

Can someone advise? Is yahoo's MX being nasty to GNU's mail daemons?
What can I do to assist this member of the mailing list?

Regards,
Branden
