Guile is the official GNU extension language. libxml2/libxsl is the official GNU/GNOME XML parser/XSLT processor. Guile is licenced under the GPL+exception, libxml2/libxsl is licenced under the MIT licence (which is GPL compatible but that doesn't matter because of the Guile exception). The code for this project is written in C and Scheme, uses autotools and is licenced under the GPL+exception.
