Vincent Caron <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: NGL
System name: ngl
Type: non-GNU

Description:
NGL is a Free Software (LGPL) library which has been developped since januar 2000 on
SourceForge. We're asking for asylum at Savannah, now that SF's services and respect
of Free Software have notably degraded :(.

NGL is a cross-platform (currently: GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, MacOS9/X, MS Windows) C++
framework for OpenGL based applications (games, CAD, etc). It can be considered as
'glut on sterods'.

The project itself has a classical GNU structure, with LGPL library code in src/ and
GPL sample code in examples/. The *nix build is autoconf/automake based, packaging is
Debian. The doc is embedded in source code and generated with Doxygen, it is hereby
LGPL. See http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/ngl/ngl/

Other Software Required:
Optional (but recommended) dependencies :

- FreeType2

- libpng

- libjpeg
