A modified version of Petr's Perl version of the script has been written by Russel Smith (http://gpl.pws.com.au/ciabot/) in order it can be globally installed on the Savannah hosting facility and used without needing to upload scripts to the CVSROOT. Maybe upstream authors will be interested by this simple patch, it looks rather sane to me to prevent hard coding of per-project values.
Savannah users can simply invoke 'ciabot.pl' (and no longer $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/ciabot.pl) with the new extended syntax :
ALL ciabot.pl %s $USER projectname from-mail to-mail
(to-mail should be [EMAIL PROTECTED] as a default)
