Category: None Status: Closed Priority: 5 Summary: Savannah and non Open Source projects By: yeupou Date: mer 29.10.2003 20:09 Logged In: YES user_id=1896 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; GNU/Linux i686; fr-FR; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030922 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Hum, it seems to me that gpaulissen talks about Savannah as software, and not Savannah as server. In this first case, yes the GPL allows you to use Savannah to manage proprietary software, just like you can write proprietary software using Emacs. However, you are not allowed to write proprietary code linked to Savannah. In the second case, the answer is no. We host only Free Software. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- By: rmartins Date: mer 29.10.2003 19:00 Logged In: YES user_id=4254 Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030905 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 I think the answer for your question is in here: http://savannah.gnu.org/faq/?group_id=11&question=What_is_the_registration_process.txt Regards ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?func=detailsupport&support_id=102566&group_id=11 _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Savannah-hackers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers
