One little thing: what they mean with 'ssh -vvv' is:
ssh -vvv vcs.savannah.gnu.org
not 'ssh --vvv' by itself.
And where they say 'user.name' in the 'git config' commands, those are literal
tokens, not replaceables. See 'git help config'.
