bob, we have had a fix from sergey for quite a while. assaf updated it for
savane code (sergey's was for his puszca, essentially the same code base). i
just haven't had the dedicated time to install it (and be able to test it,
back out if problems, etc.). and right now i am 500% overcommitted with tex
live. maybe after that release is out ...
