Follow-up Comment #4, sr #109423 (project administration): This looks like a MySQL bug <https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=67297>: the string breaks when inserted. FYI: Savannah runs on top of 'mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.58, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 6.3'.
