The message looks like SSH having trouble with finding the key, either the server couldn't get the matching key registered in your Savannah account, or the client failed to offer the right key to the server. On 2025-04-29 (before the fencepost's outage) I tested CVS checkout, commit and update via torsocks under Trisquel 11, it worked for me (I didn't see the warnings from torsocks, though). The next step could be to see what a command like 'ssh -v r...@cvs.savannah.gnu.org' says.
