As for finding traces of GNU Bool in Savannah, you are right, I wrongly assumed that I needed the code hosted on Savannah to publish it on the WWW site. Now that you mention the FTP site, I now vaguely recall that I must've published the tarball by uploading it - this is perfectly fine.
