The general solution here is to update your software as soon as possible.
Google has sunset support for your OS [1] long ago. Upgrading your OS should
be a priority for your computing security. If your hardware is no longer
supported by Apple, the system would likely work well with GNU/Linux without
needing to purchase more hardware.

imperva recommends blocking all Chrome user-agents older than three years on
page 34 of their 2025 Bad Bot Report [2] and based on the data I am seeing
that is sound advice.
