Hello.
At first, your Arch repository is not browseable for me (403) so I cannot
figure out easily what changes you made. Can you please provide me with
something, where I can check out them? (URI? :))
At second, our layer say that the GIF patent become "free" first of October -
read http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/gif.html
At third, I wouldn't prefer to guess what license a documentation has got.
You should ask the original author about it, if possible.
