Follow-up Comment #1, task #5865 (project administration):
I discussed this with my manager further. We can well forget about EPL and
publish the code under GPL. I suppose this is anyway required because we link
to GPL-licensed MySQL Connector/J (and EPL is not listed in its FLOSS
exceptions clause.
