==== Description: ====
This project is named awale. Awale is an african game whose
rules are quite simple. It is a board game like chess or go.
The package provides two commands: awale and xawale.
Awale is a C-program to play awale in command-line mode.
It provides a full screen interface. Help option is
supported as well as a man page. The only required package
is getopt and the software is contained in the single
awale.c file.
Xawale is a GUI interface. It is written in tcl/tk
script language and requires no more package.
Xawale calls the command awale with the --xawale option
in order to ensure a single line output.
Awale engine is based on the min-max algorithm which is
particularly efficient for this game due to the low number
of choices at each turn.
==== Other Software Required: ====
The command awale needs getopt to be compiled.
The command xawale is a script shell in tcl/tk.
==== Other Comments: ====
This is a re-registration of the project. The correspondent was
Steven Robson. Unfortunatly, I missed to respond the task #6005.
I have now updated the FSF adress and I have added a README file
in the src directory for the licence of image files.
I apologize, Steven, for this delay.
