----

==== Description: ====
cmdftp is a command line FTP client for Unix systems that features shell-like
functions, passive mode, local and remote transparent modes, broken connection
resumption, multiple and recursive file transfers, auto-login, and large file
support.

The project is currently hosted at Sourceforge:

http://cmdftp.sourceforge.net
http://sourceforge.net/projects/cmdftp

cmdftp is copyright(c) 2003-2004-2005-2006-2007 Claudio Fontana
and is licensed under the GNU GPL license, version "2 or later".

==== Other Comments: ====
Since the decision of SF to cut their most distinguishing feature,
the Compile Farm, there is no reason anymore to endure the clumsy
and slow web interface of SF, so I hope to be able to move the project over
to savannah.
