sorry for the delay I got a lot of work to do in the last months :-) I
finally uploaded the first alpha of libttstd and will now start development of
osmbuddy. Libttstd doesn't make osmbuddy obsolete, osmbuddy will depend on
libttstd (especially the GPS functions) for gaining data about the position
and then use data from openstreetmap.org to display the position on a map.
I just wanted to split my work in two projects because generic interface
functions for GPS, battery etc. may be useful for others and other projects,
too.
