Follow-up Comment #6, task #8839 (project administration):
I have now also updated the files copied from autoconf, automake and libtool
(doing nothing but incrementing "version 2" to "version 3"). I also updated
the AUTHORS file to mention these files, since it previously claimed I had
made everything. I guess I'm so used at seeing these files, I forget that
they exist.
The README file has been updated to mention dependencies and platform
support.
Like with the previous change, the updated tarball is at the same URL as
before.
Thank you for the rigorous quality control.
