November 22th 2009 in GNU Savannah item 9501: "Submission of Contego Software". >My plan using Savanna account was show my project (it is in Beta >release, yet), looking for other people iterested in it and finally >develop a free software to offer at GNU comunnity (Linux and Windows >but specially Linux becasue I work with Debian Lenny). Please refer to the operating system as GNU/Linux, remember than Linux is only a kernel usally used along with GNU and that mix is called GNU/Linux. >If you think that Savanna is not a place for my project, please don't >hesitate to say to me and I will delete it of your site, or if you >want, you can delete it if you want. Savannah is a place for free software project, The problem here is than we do not want to be just a download mirror but the central point where developing takes place. In the usual project registration processes the developer send his project along with a tarball. We review it to see if it comply with the Hosting Requirements https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php and if not we inform of the nessesary fixes and when it are applied the project is approved. If you wish to use Savannah savannah as the main site for your project then please remove it from SF and send us the tarball to do the usual process. PD: Unless there is a good reason for not do so, You should response using the Savannah web interface: https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?9501. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEAREIAAYFAksJ9aEACgkQZ4DA0TLic4iThACfae8x0RJd8nBdzUW/xocK445e tmcAn3v3bVdfwFsOniKtO5iKLlWmrs6p =BTs+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?9501> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
