Follow-up Comment #8, task #9993 (project administration): -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256
December 24th 2009 in GNU Savannah item 9993: "Submission of Lwip DHCP Server" Your project requires proprietary software (FreeRTOS) and cannot be hosted on Savannah for this reason. - From http://www.freertos.org/license.txt: >Clause 2: >FreeRTOS may not be used for any competitive or comparative purpose, >including the publication of any form of run time or compile time >metric, without the express permission of Real Time Engineers >Ltd. (this is the norm within the industry and is intended to ensure >information accuracy). This clause limits the uses of FreeRTOS, turning it into propietary. Apart it need propietary software to compile to certain CPU/µC architectures (Fujitsu Softtune as example), therefore it can't run well on fully free enviroment, and is a requirement to do so. Savannah is willing to provide resources and time to developers writing Free Software that can be used without the need to ask permission from proprietary software vendor. If, someday, you get free of those dependencies, feel free to resubmit your project. Thank you for your understanding. Regards.
