Yes, Karl: that was exactly the question. Thanks for your answer. I see no
obstacle then for approval.
As to synchronizing releases, Jack's approach seems sensible. The biggest
problem is with bug fixes, which must trickle down from the developer to
eLyXer and then to LyXBlogger. The real solution is to have the LyX
distributor cope with releases -- Debian's package management is a good
example of how to do this. For now we can live with joint distribution.
