Hi Aubrey,
Great, please submit a tarball when you are ready.
Having an open task requires periodic monitoring, so it really does consume
someone's time; as you will know we are volunteers and the time we can devote
to admin tasks is very limited. If it is going to take you more than a few
weeks to be ready for review we can close the task and you can resubmit
whenever you are ready. But given that you have some code to review it would
be best at this point to go ahead with whatever you have.
