A minor nit: Your README says "This program is free software; you can
redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public
License (GPL), version 2.", could you change the end to "version 2, or (at
your option) any later version" to make it consistent with the notices in the
source files and reduce the risk of a misunderstanding?
