Hello,
there's no problem on using python but you must ensure that your code
will run entirely on python versions greater than 2.1.1. You may read
this link for more information:

Thanks

Hi, Joan!
and thanks for the effort. The project is intended to be migrated to
python. (I forgot to explain it :-/) Can I do that? Or should I begin
another project submission?
Thanks again
Joa

Follow-up Comment #1:
Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.
The package you have uploaded contains some files without license
text. For
example: confi/config.xml and publi/config.xml
The rule is: if a file has more than 10 lines, it must provide a
license
header. That includes man pages, README files, ChangeLog,
Autotools files like
Makefile.am or configure.ac <http://configure.ac>, test code,
examples..
Please check
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html
for more information, and update your files.
Anyway, I'm approving your project. You will receive an automated
e-mail
containing detailed information about the approval.
Regards.
