==== Description: ====
The project provides Xymon clients for all the IBM Mainframe platforms: z/OS,
z/VM and z/VSE. The original client software was developed and maintained by
Richard Smrcina under GPLv2 in 2003-2009, and now in year 2014, the software
is brought to Savannah for further maintenance.
The clients allow integration of general monitoring of System z servers onto
the multipurpose Xymon monitoring platform, which is a separate project in
http://xymon.sourceforge.net/
==== Other Software Required: ====
The Xymon Monitor, GNU GPLv2, http://xymon.sourceforge.net/, license:
http://www.xymon.com/license/
==== Other Comments: ====
The three client programs run on proprietary operating systems z/OS, z/VM and
z/VSE, but the programs are coded with REXX, Cobol and Assembler languages,
and don't include any proprietary binaries.
