Hi David - yes, many GNU packages are hosted on savannah. (Indeed, it is
recommended, though not required.) And yes, changing from nongnu to gnu is
simple enough.
But if you plan to submit it to GNU, might as well do that first. There is a
lot of overlap in the evaluations, as you might imagine.
