Nothing to do with your submission, but I just tried to upload a test file
with javascript turned off in my browser (seamonkey) and it worked ok.
Admittedly it was through edit->preferences rather than noscript, but still, I
would have expected it to fail if it was something about savannah's
javascript. (as far as i know, js is not required for anything meaningful on
savannah.)
hmm ...
