Follow-up Comment #7, task #14584 (project administration):

I need a license for a library so normally would have been LGPL,
GPL however requires the non-free principle that further released code should
also hold the same copyright notice. 

This license removes the obligation to provide the same license txt in derived
copies, important for code libraries.

This license gives the right to use it, without preconditions, and thus brings
it in the Public Domain. It is a license to set the source free, by allowing
it's free use.

If you, as GNU promotors, think it is not compatible with GNU policies i would
like to hear that ;]
