Follow-up Comment #3, task #15490 (project administration):

It's unfortunate that the FSF has lost your trust; still we think that the
incompatibility is an essential issue.

Savannah is a forge for the GNU Project, and it's implied that software hosted
here may be used as a source where GNU packages could get new code.  This
wouldn't be possible if the compatibility with the future versions of the GPL
were up to maintainers of each package.
