Ah, I thought that was OK because I had a README in the examples directory.
Sorry for that little misunderstanding. The only reason I didn't add license
notices is because I was to lazy to implement a way to remove them when the
examples are included in the documentation.
But I implemented that now (based on the way GNU Libc does it) and added
license notices to each example file. See the attached tarball.
